Cross Submissions are allowed for hackathons provided they both satisfy event rules, and are created within hackathon work hours.
For Middle Schoolers under the age of 13, have a parent sign up for the account and register for the hackathon and submit on your behalf.
Projects must be created within the hackathon time frame.
We also encourage participants to sign up for multiple tracks.
About the challenge
Welcome to STEMist Hacks IV where you can create projects to win prizes. Throughout the hackathon, you will also have the opportunity to learn and meet others at our various workshops. We welcome hackers of all levels.
This hackathon is open to all high school and middle school students. Solo and teams up to 4 are allowed. We encourage participants to make anything STEM related, whether that's code, CAD, or hardware.
Projects are encouraged to follow one or more of the categories, but are not required to do so. Projects not following a specific category are not eligible to win those prizes, and are only eligible for best overall prizes.

Requirements
What to Build
Build anything "tech-related" to win prizes.
This can include - Machine Learning, AR/VR software, Computer Science Programs, Games, Websites, Apps, Mini-Computers, Hardware systems, and a lot more!
What to Submit
Please submit a 3-5 minute video summarizing AND demonstrating your project, as well as any code necessary (ex: Github Repository).

If released to the public, what changes will it cause? If this project receives funding, is it realistic that it can be effectively implemented in society? Does it solve the problem that the team points out? -
Project Condition
Does the project work? Are there any cases where the project fails/crashes? Are there a large number of bugs that drastically worsen the functionality of the project?
